Tabulo Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 13, 2026 · Applies to the Tabulo browser extension
Summary
Tabulo is a local-first new tab workspace. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any of your personal data. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics/tracking of any kind. All of your data stays on your device, or syncs through your own Google Chrome account — never through our servers (we do not operate any server).
What data Tabulo stores, and where
- Your layout, settings and preferences are stored via
chrome.storage.sync, which syncs through your own Chrome account if you are signed in and have sync enabled. Google handles this transport under Google's privacy policy; Tabulo has no access to it. - Your content (notes, to-dos, sketches, photos, tab snapshots, calculator history, habit records, etc.) is stored locally via
chrome.storage.localand IndexedDB on your device. This content is not synced and not uploaded anywhere. - You can export everything to a file, re-import it, or erase it at any time in Settings → Data. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
Permissions
Tabulo installs with only two permission types, neither of which triggers an install warning:

Everything else is optional: a permission is requested only when you enable a module that needs it, and you can grant or revoke it anytime in Settings → Permissions:

Network requests
Tabulo makes network requests only to the following exact domains, and only when you use the matching feature. Tabulo never sends your browsing history or page content anywhere.

Search queries you type go directly from your browser to the search engine you picked, exactly as if you had typed them on the engine's own site. AI-portal shortcuts simply open the portal's website.
Children's privacy
Tabulo does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect data at all.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a new effective date.

Tabulo 是一个本地优先的新标签页工作台。我们不收集、不传输、不出售、不共享你的任何个人数据。没有账号、没有广告、没有任何统计埋点。你的所有数据要么保存在本机，要么经由你自己的 Chrome 账号同步——全程不经过我们的服务器（我们也不运营任何服务器）。
数据存在哪里
- 布局、设置与偏好存于
chrome.storage.sync，在你登录并开启同步的前提下，由你自己的 Chrome 账号完成同步，传输由 Google 提供（受 Google 隐私政策约束），Tabulo 无法接触。 - 你的内容（便签、待办、画板、照片、标签页快照、计算器留痕、习惯记录等）仅存于本机的
chrome.storage.local与 IndexedDB，不参与同步、不上传任何服务器。 - 你随时可以在「设置 → 数据」导出全部数据、重新导入或一键清空；卸载扩展即删除全部本地数据。
权限说明
安装时仅申请以下两项，均不触发安装警告：

联网说明

你在搜索框输入的查询词由你的浏览器直接发往你选择的搜索引擎，与你在该引擎官网搜索无异；AI 门户快捷方式仅打开对应网站。
儿童隐私
Tabulo 不收集任何人的数据（包括 13 岁以下儿童），因为它根本不收集数据。
政策变更
如有变更，将在本页面同一网址发布更新版本并注明生效日期。
